FINANCE MANAGER

The Role

Are you a proactive finance professional with a passion for continuous improvement and automation? Hall Chadwick Melbourne is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This role is primarily focused on providing high level high level financial accounting support to the practice. In addition, it provides oversight for IT and some Corporate Functions and attends to taxation returns for the firm and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the firm’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilise APS software for efficient financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the firm’s growth and success.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Provide insightful financial advice to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Mentor and support junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within an accounting firm.
  • Strong proficiency in APS software and excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage financial projects.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA are required.
