The Role

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Auditor to join our team in Melbourne.  This is a varied and interesting role where you will work with Australian and multinational clients across a wide range of organisations (listed, unlisted and private) and industry sectors including manufacturing, retail, NFP, services, trading, SMSFs and trust accounts. You will join a supportive team who will provide you with guidance and mentorship to enable you to grow your skillset and develop your professional career.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Working directly with the Audit Partner and assist in planning of audit engagement
  • Complete audit engagements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Opportunity to be an integral part of the audit team and get involved in engagements from planning to completion
  • Direct interaction with clients on site.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant degree qualified
  • Studying towards, or a desire to begin a CA or CPA qualification
  • A minimum of six months in audit within a chartered accounting firm (Business Services background will also be considered)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build authentic client relationships
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience with CaseWare preferred.
