SENIOR TAX ANALYST
Working within our Business Services function, this role is predominantly focused on Australian and International tax consulting, research and learning.
This role is ideally suited to someone with a business services background, some exposure to and a passion for tax, and a desire to direct their career into the tax stream. The work you perform will be diverse – tax controversy, tax advice, submissions to ATO (such as objections, rulings and response to position papers) and internal technical advice and support, contributions to tax journals and writing articles for the firm’s Australian/ US tax blog.
Alongside your Australian tax knowledge and 4+ years Australian business services experience in a chartered accounting firm, you have a strong interest in, and desire to pursue a career in tax.
Excellent analytical, verbal communication and writing skills are essential, as you will spend considerable time providing written advice and submissions, as well as attending meetings with clients, ATO officers and other advisors such as barristers.
You are CA/CPA qualified and legally eligible to work in Australia without any restrictions.
